Finnair Oyj may be interested in buying parts of Swedish peer SAS AB, Finnair chief executive Jukka Heinonen tells Boersen Friday. “A sale (of SAS) could have dramatic consequences for competition in Scandinavia, depending on what happens. We are monitoring the situation with great interest because certain parts of SAS definitely would be of interest to Finnair,” Heinonen tells the newspaper.

Heinonen declined to comment on which parts of SAS that would be of interest to Finnair.
