Air Tahiti Nui was voted “Airline of the Year” for 2005 at Auckland International Airport Limited’s annual Airline of the Year award dinner on 29th June. The annual recipient is the airline which receives the most votes from its airline peers at the award dinner.

In receiving the award, Mark Hutchinson, Air Tahiti Nui’s Regional Director for New Zealand acknowledged the support Air Tahiti Nui has received from all the airlines serving Auckland, since commencing it’s Auckland flights six years ago.

“It’s great to be honoured in this way by our peers and of course we wouldn’t be receiving this accolade without the help of many others,” said Mark Hutchinson. “Special thanks also to Air Tahiti Nui’s airport team headed by Lorraine Sellwood, and the staff of Terminal Services who do such a great job managing Air Tahiti Nui’s airport ground handling.”
