Belgium Thomas Cook, TUI investigated

Belgian competition authorities recently raided the offices of Thomas Cook and TUI. They were investigating whether the tourism groups were involved in price-fixing.

Both companies have said that they are cooperating fully with the investigation.

The official in charge of the case at the competition authorities told Reuters news agency that two Belgian tourism federations were also being questioned.

The suspicion of price-fixing involves the sale of flights, service fees and trips in general.
