Hotel Derek in Houston, Texas has launched a set of guestrooms tailored for the business traveler called “Business Lofts.“Called Business Lofts, these six, complete business rooms provide road warriors with the tools and toys they need to get the job done while away from their office.

Fitted with the important amenities that a business traveler needs, Hotel Derek’s Business Lofts offer guests a relaxing retreat, with the living quarters being separate from an adjoining business alcove, where work can be spread out on a Texas-sized desk.

At their fingertips, guests in the Business Lofts can play solitaire with a deck of cards, practice drawing on an Etch-A-Sketch, improve their golf game on the putting machine and test their knowledge by playing “Trivia On The Go.”

And, for Hotel Derek guests that can’t leave home without their musical toy, an iSoother brand AM/FM alarm clock has been placed right next to the bed. Complete with a ZipConnect, this alarm clock can charge most iPod and MP3 players. Guests also will enjoy a daily room service continental breakfast, compliments of Hotel Derek.
