Palace Resorts looking good

Both travel agents & Modern Bride Magazine agree that Palace Resorts is their favourite all-inclusive chain in Mexico and the Caribbean.

In the “Ninth Annual Readers’ Choice
Awards,” which appeared in the December 2005 issue of the travel trade
publication, Recommend, Palace Resorts was voted the “Best Resort/Hotel
Chain - All-Inclusive.”

The company was also voted the Number Two “Favourite
All-Inclusive Brand” in the September 2005 issue of the popular bridal
publication, Modern Bride Magazine.

“It is a great honour and very exciting,” said Maira Briceno, Director of
Marketing for Palace Resorts.  “We have worked very hard and it has paid
off.”

According to Recommend, the company’s loyalty to agents and money-saving
programs were key to why Palace Resorts received top billing in one of the
“Reader’s Choice” most coveted awards.

The company’s “Travel Agent Bonus
Commission,” which encourages travel agents to book as many reservations as
possible at any of the Palace Resorts in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cozumel, and
Nuevo Vallarta in exchange for generous bonus commissions, as well as their
popular “Palace Passport” and “Free Weddings” offers were noted in
particular.

“This award is significant because travel agents play a critical role in the
counseling and selling of our product,” said Briceno. “Through this honour,
they have recognised our commitment to excellence, which is a huge
compliment.”

For their annual “World’s 50 Best Honeymoons” feature, Modern Bride Magazine
selected a panel of experts, virtuoso travel specialists located all around
the country, who also voted on the top hotel/resort brands for honeymooners.
Palace placed second in the “Favourite All-Inclusive Brands” category, edging
out other popular chains in the Caribbean.

“Honeymooners are a very important market for us,” said Briceno.

“Receiving
this honour by such a prestigious bridal publication will only further
enhance our reputation with this key audience.”
