Hilton brings mid-price to Madison

has opened of the 134-room Hilton Garden Inn Madison in Madison, Mississippi.
“We are excited to open our first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Mississippi,” said Adrian Kurre, senior vice president - brand management, Hilton Garden Inn. “We hope that when business and leisure travelers experience a Hilton Garden Inn hotel, we will become their mid-priced lodging choice throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.”
A five-story structure, the Hilton Garden Inn Madison features: a signature glass-walled pavilion housing the reception desk; a Pavilion Pantry with a selection of refrigerated, frozen and microwaveable packaged items and sundries; the Great American Grill restaurant offering freshly prepared breakfast; room service available during dinner hours from Bonefish Grill; a comfortable lounge area with a television and fireplace; two rooms with 1,032 square feet of flexible meeting space; a 24-hour, complimentary business center; and an on-site guest laundry.
Guestroom accommodations and features include: the Garden Sleep System in king rooms; innovative clock that allows guests to play their MP3 or portable CD player; a “hospitality center” that houses a microwave oven, coffee maker and mini refrigerator; a sitting area with an easy chair and ottoman; a hairdryer; and an iron and ironing board. In-room entertainment and information services include video-on-demand movies, video games and interactive Hilton guest services.
Business-oriented features of the guestrooms include: complimentary high-speed Internet access and remote printing to the business center; the Herman Miller Mirra chair; a spacious work desk; adjustable lighting; electrical outlets at desk height; and two telephones equipped with data ports and voice mail.
Recreational facilities consist of a workout facility and heated indoor swimming pool and whirlpool.
