United wins biz traveller’s votes
United is being voted best airline for North American travel and United Mileage Plus is being voted best frequent flyer program for the 10th year in a row, in Business Traveler’s annual travel industry contest.
“United and its employees understand our customers’ needs and work hard to deliver a differentiated experience for them,” said Dennis Cary, United’s senior vice president-Marketing. “We are pleased that our customers recognize our collective efforts to continually raise the bar. New and improved services we offer inflight, at the airport and through our frequent flyer program, clearly elevate our customers’ travel experience across North America, and in fact, across the globe.”
This fall, a sampling of Business Traveler’s 60,000 subscribers in the continental United States voted for their favorite travel destinations, airlines and hotels—worldwide.
“Business Traveler’s readers represent a tremendously influential group, one always seeking the best in global business travel,” said Craig Pavia, group publisher-Frank Publishing. “For 17 years, we have polled these passionate experts who are eager to name the best, and this year they voted for United Airlines in two very prestigious categories, recognizing its North America service and Mileage Plus frequent flyer program.”
