Delta.com has unveiled enhancements to enable customers across 13 European countries to book flights on Delta wherever they are. 

The extension of cross border credit card acceptance at Delta.com mean customers within these countries can now book and pay for travel online using a credit card registered to a billing address outside the country of travel origin, as well as booking US domestic itineraries online.

The changes apply to customers booking online travel in: The UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Greece.

‘This year, Delta will fly across the Atlantic to an increasing number of European destinations and these important developments mean Delta will be able to meet the needs of our European customers, wherever they live or work, at the click of a mouse,’ said Thomas Brandt, General Manager Distribution Planning.

In 2006, Delta will launch new services to 11 destinations across the Atlantic to Europe and the Middle East as part of the largest international expansion in the airline’s history.
