Quatro Rodas, one of Brazil’s leading tourism guides, recognized the Crowne Plaza brand as the best in “Service Innovation” in its 2006 guide.
The guide recognized the brand for the type of innovative programs and distinctive services that it provides guests such as its Sleep Advantage Program, all of which are unique concepts to Brazil.
The Sleep Advantage program available at Crowne Plaza hotels throughout Latin America, U.S., and Canada encompasses the entire sleep experience, from training staff on how to create and maintain a restful environment to providing innovative products and services.
Program components also include new bedding, guaranteed wake-up calls, designated quiet zones, night lights, drape clips, sleep CDs, sleep tips and amenities such as eye masks, ear plugs and lavender spray.
There are 5,583 hotels mentioned in the 2006 guide and the Crowne Plaza brand was awarded in the top 100th category. “We are honored to have been recognized by such a prestigious tourism guide,” says Alvaro Diago, Area President of InterContinental Hotels Group Latin America.
