Jam Factor Predictive Trending utilizes industry and proprietary techniques to analyze the numerous factors that contribute to traffic congestion. The Jam Factor is a color-coded, numerical system that uses real-time speed and travel time measurements, detailed accident, construction and congestion information providing a clear and consistent comprehensive traffic measure.

Traffic.com has announced other web site enhancements that include: my TrafficMax(TM) voice product, expanded geographic coverage,  personalized RSS feed, free “Hotspot” reporting and simplified usability.
