ExploreNewEngland.com launches
The Boston Globe and Boston.com are launching ExploreNewEngland.com, a one-stop travel guide to the New England states.
The site allows readers to plan their next adventure, from lodging to dining to things to do and attractions. And like the region’s weather, ExploreNewEngland.com will change for the seasons, with deep packages dedicated to fall foliage, skiing/snow sports and beaches.
“We’ve designed the site to answer some of the basic questions people have when they are planning a trip - what to see, where to stay, where to eat and how to get there,” said Michael Manning, Director of product and strategy, Boston.com. “Leisure time is a valuable commodity for people, and we believe that the site is equally valuable whether you’re planning a day-trip or a two-week vacation in the region.”
