Clear skies ahead for Air Jam?

Troubled airline carrier Air Jamaica is to broach ‘the beginning of a new chapter’ with the appointment of Michael Conway as the company’s CEO.Jamaica’s finance minister Dr Omar Davies introduced a new 12-member board for the national airline, even though the board is mainly made up of previous members.
Conway is an American with an illustrious career in aviation. He has previously turned round a bankrupt carrier, America West, although that was more then a decade ago.
Faces that are staying include well respected and popular businessman Senator Noel Sloley, and the enigmatic tourism director Paul Pennicook.
New kids on the block include orthodontist Dr Jeffrey Meeks, Professor Rex Nettleford, and a student going by the name of Sophia Lowe. Each will serve three years.
