Jet Airways offers web check-in

Jet Airways has become the first domestic airline in that country to offer an online check-in facility. The service is available for passengers holding a confirmed and valid e-ticket, any time between 48 hours and 60 minutes before flight departure, in 29 of the airline’s destinations across India.  E-tickets can be issued through travel agents, the airline’s website, and its airport and city offices.

The carrier has also launched an initiative that allows a customer not only to select a preferred seat, but also to print a boarding pass for a same-day return flight on www.jetairways.com.

Peter Luethi, chief operating officer of Jet Airways (India) Limited said: “Jet Airways has strengthened its commitment to growth of the Indian aviation industry through emerging technology.  These facilities represent yet another step towards a seamless and hassle-free air travel experience.”

The capabilities announced today use technology developed by Sabre Airline Solutions.
