Western Hotel Properties announced today a franchise agreement with Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, the largest and most global brand of a href=“http://www.starwoodhotels.com” target=“_top”>Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. Following an expansive $32 million renovation, the 490-room Coast Anaheim Hotel will be reflagged as the Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort in the spring of 2006. The sprawling 11-acre property is located adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center and one block from Disneyland.

In addition, the city is the perfect home for this new Sheraton, and given the quality and service the brand provides, we are certain this hotel will exceed allexpectations of our business and leisure visitors.”

A smart and stylish design with upgraded decor will echo throughout the hotel lobby and lobby bar. The renovation will include a redesign of the existing 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting and exhibit space. Other guest services include two restaurants and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

All guest rooms will showcase Sheraton’s signature Sweet Sleeper Bed which includes a plush-top mattress, down pillows, crisp sheets, and duvets in rich, solid colors with a patterned design. Sophistication and comfort are reflected in all guest rooms with new dark grain wood furniture, contemporary artwork, carpet, wall coverings and granite top vanities. Additional guestroom amenities include 27” flat screen panel color televisions and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access. Club Level accommodations provide upgraded amenities and offer private access to the Club Level Lounge where complimentary morning breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres with cocktails are served.
