New Holiday Inn for Brazil

continues its aggressive expansion with the opening of the 65-room, 15-story Holiday Inn Express Avenida Sumare-Sao Paulo in Brazil. The opening of this hotel marks IHG’s 28th Holiday Inn in Latin America and IHG’s 15th property in Brazil. With the addition of Sao Paulo’s first Holiday Inn Express hotel, the InterContinental Hotels Group portfolio in Sao Paulo is now represented by five of its brands. Developed by ACP Incorporacao e Construcao Ltda the hotel is owned by Hotel San Marco Ltda. and managed by Feltre Administracao Condominal Ltda under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
The Holiday Inn Express Avenida Sumare-Sao Paulo is located on the corner of “Rua Doutor Homem de Melo,” and Avenue Sumare. It is within close proximity to both Sao Paulo airports. It is also ideally located near the major business, entertainment, and shopping centers, as well as numerous tourist attractions, such as, Memorial da America Latina, Parque Antartica (soccer stadium), and the Anhembi Convention Center, one of the largest convention centers in the world.
Today the great city of Sao Paulo is home to IHG’s InterContinental Sao Paulo, Crowne Plaza Sao Paulo, Holiday Inn Parque Anhembi, Holiday Inn Express Ave. Sumare and Staybridge Suites Century Plaza properties. The Holiday Inn Express Ave. Sumare - Sao Paulo is the 28th Holiday Inn property to open in Latin America, a number that virtually has tripled in the past four years.

It is because of their support that our expansion has been so successful to date. Today, Sao Paulo is the first city in Latin America to host this many IHG brands.”
The hotel’s guestrooms feature large TVs, wireless Internet access, dual-line telephones with voice mail, coffeemakers, mini-bars, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards and in-room safes. The hotel’s amenities also include a convenience store, a business center, a fitness facility and three meeting rooms with the capacity to host up to 140 people.
The Holiday Inn Express brand is a perfect choice for travelers seeking affordable lodging and comfortable accommodations. The brand has more than 1,500 hotels worldwide. In the past year, IHG has opened three Holiday Inn Express hotels throughout Latin America namely the Holiday Inn Express Curitiba-Santa Felicidade and Holiday Inn Express Curitiba-Batel, both in Brazil and the Holiday Inn Express Santiago in Chile.
