Pennicook Sees Opportunity to Open up Japanese Market

Beginning February 3, 2006, long weekend
getaways to Jamaica from Dallas/Ft. Worth will be easier than ever with the launch
of a new American Airlines service to Montego Bay. The service will be American
Airlines third route to Jamaica, in addition to the New York and Miami gateways.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft will carry 142 passengers.
The outbound American Airlines flight (#1232) departs on Friday, Saturday, Sunday
and Monday, from Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW) at 10:45 a.m. and
arrives at Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay at 3:31 p.m. From
Jamaica, the returning flight (#1233) departs Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
at 4:36 p.m. and arrives in Dallas/Ft. Worth International at 7:36 p.m.

“American’s new Dallas to Jamaica service opens up additional markets, such as
Dallas, the West coast, the Midwest and Western Canada, making it easier and more
convenient to travel to Jamaica. This also gives us opportunities to increase our
visitor numbers from the Asian markets, especially Japan, since this flight allows
for easy connections with Narita International Airport, ” said Paul Pennicook,
Director of Tourism for Jamaica.
