BA Flights Returning to Normal

British Airways’
shorthaul schedule from London Heathrow should return to normal tomorrow, Monday August 15, as the airline plans to operate 100 per cent of flights.The return to normal for UK and European flights is a day earlier than originally envisaged.

The longhaul programme is also returning to normal and will average just above 95 per cent of flights for the next couple of days as crew operating hours, rosters, and aircraft continue to get back into alignment.

The complete flying programme for Monday will be available on the airline’s website ba.com from 2100hrs this evening.

Customers caught up in the disruption now have confirmed bookings on flights in the next few days.

All displaced bags at Heathrow will be transited to their final destination tomorrow to be reunited with their owners.


Flights will continue to have limited catering provisions onboard due to the ongoing industrial dispute at the catering supplier, Gate Gourmet.


British Airways is providing meal vouchers at check in or refreshments in the terminals.
