PREVU Corporation’s new strategic US alliance takes the New Zealand born company a step closer to establishing the travel industry’s first global e-marketing network, according to co-founder and chairman, Bert Lamb.
Announcing the alliance with Florida-based ICE Portal (http://www.iceportal.com/), Bert Lamb explained: `This alliance gives PREVU hotel customers improved access to audiences in North America and Europe. Together we will be able to provide our Asia Pacific customers and distributors with a more complete suite of e-marketing services. This is a major step towards our ambition of establishing the travel industry’s first global e-marketing network.’
ICE Portal is the leading US-based producer and distributor of multi-media content for the travel industry. Its content is used by some of the world’s leading online travel brands including Orbitz, CheapTickets.com, Mark Travel and World Choice Travel.
PREVU managing director, Peter Tanner said: `In addition to the PREVU network of 450 websites, our Asia Pacific hotel partners will now be distributed to the 15,000 websites in the ICE network. Equally exciting, our Asia Pacific distributors will have access to 1,000 virtual tours and video clips from suppliers in the USA, Mexico and the Caribbean. The new combined database of rich media content is the largest of its kind in the world.
