Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Markets For Sale the Seaview Resort & Spa

On behalf of LaSalle Hotel Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has been appointed to market for sale the 297-guestroom Seaview Resort & Spa, a Marriott Resort.  Seaview is a ten minute drive from Atlantic City casinos and area beaches.  The property features two classically designed championship golf courses - the Donald Ross Bay Course and the Toomey and Flynn Pines Course - as well as 27,000 square feet of flexible meeting and banquet space including two luxurious ballrooms and a new 9,900-square foot ballroom which opened in May 2005.

“This is an outstanding conference resort located in the highly desirable New York-Philadelphia-Washington corridor and just a few minutes from Atlantic City,” said Arthur Adler, managing director and CEO-Americas of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.  “The resort’s highly regarded golf facilities, meeting space and extensive amenities, as well as its significant upside potential, make this an outstanding investment.  In addition, the resort benefits from the adjacent Fairway Villas Vacation Ownership Club, which houses an Elizabeth Arden Spa and provides the resort with a steady stream of income from various sources.”

“We expect interest from investors that will exploit the resort’s development potential, including residential units on the golf course or surrounding land parcels, the addition of an indoor water park and other development opportunities,” added Alan Tantleff, an executive vice president with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in New York.  “Creating value from the excess land here is immensely appealing.”
