Myrtle Beach Marriott Recognised

Less than two years after opening its doors, Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort at Grande Dunes
has recently been named #33 in Conde Nast Traveler’s Top 100 Golf Resorts, ranking higher than any property in South Carolina. “Our national ranking represents the dedication of all hotel associates to the Marriott ‘Spirit to Serve’ philosophy. I am extremely proud of the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort at Grande Dunes and the high level of service and customer commitment we bring to all our guests,” says General Manager Brian Hockenbury.
In its 10th year of existence, Conde Nast Traveler’s Top 100 Golf Resorts list granted Myrtle Beach Marriott with an overall score of 81 out of 100. The June 2005 scores were based on golf services, speed of play, hotel accommodations, quality of amenities and overall professionalism of staff. Alongside Conde Nast Traveler, South Carolina’s longest course also holds an important position as one of America’s Top Ten New Courses, as named by Golf Magazine. Impressive national recognition from top publications secures Myrtle Beach’s position among luxury, full-service resorts.
Situated within the 2,200-acre plantation-style Grande Dunes resort and residential community, this $60 million resort features Mediterranean-inspired architecture, 415 luxurious guestrooms and suites, 45,500 square feet of meeting space, an 8,000 square-foot spa, three swimming pools, including one indoor pool and South Carolina’s first infinity-edged outdoor pool, three dining options and a host of attractions and activities within reach.
