CNG Travel Partners with P&P Associates

CNG Travel will supply its stock of over 25,000 participating private rate hotels to P&P Associates, the UK holding company for a number of British corporate travel agencies, consumer travel web sites, and official travel agency for Chelsea Football Club.
P&P is adopting a dynamic packaging solution based on the TravelStoreMaker internet booking engine, connected to CNG’s online inventory via a XML link. The solution will enable P&P agents to access CNG’s growing private rate hotel inventory and then to book accommodation quickly and securely in real time. In return, CNG will collect and quickly pay higher-than-average commission, removing administrative burdens and payment delays.

The dynamic packaging solution featuring CNG will be implemented with P&P’s subsidiary corporate travel agencies - Chelsea Village Travel, Telford Travel, 2000 Travel Management and Pro Travel - as well as with P&P’s two consumer-facing travel web sites, its SA2.co.uk (formerly Stratford Airfares) consolidator service for agencies, and the official Chelsea Football Club web site.

Tim Wright, CNG senior vice president for business development in Europe, commented: “This dynamic packaging deal with P&P Associates shows how agencies can adopt CNG’s service through our web-based service that integrates efficiently with other technology partners and providers. With our competitive rates, flexible online technology and attractive commission, CNG helps agents provide their end customers with wider choice, value and service. Adoption of CNG as a preferred hotel booking channel is really gaining momentum amongst agents and affiliates.”

P&P Associates’ CEO Phil Cook added: “The name of the agency game today is about offering the widest choice, very efficient service and value. With this new solution, we will be able to extend hotel choice and pricing for customers right across the P&P estate while increasing productivity and enhancing revenue through CNG’s excellent commission policy.”
