The boutique hotel’s 100 guestrooms, including 32 suites, are each meticulously appointed with a selection of canopy beds, armoires and wood-burning fireplaces, and boast monumental views of the capital city.
The Jefferson’s resplendent lobby, Grand Foyer and original “power lunch” restaurant, The Jefferson, conspire to display a colonial American art collection to rival that of the White House. A significant cache of original, signed Thomas Jefferson documents similarly adorn the public spaces and lend the hotel its name, while eighteenth-century drawings of satirical political caricatures provide additional historic insight.
