The Caribbean to be Made Easy

As if cheap flights, Internet access and car rental were not enough, the bright orange guise of the now globally famous Easygroup will grace the waters of the Caribbean as Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the company’s CEO, has announced plans to bring EasyCruiseOne to the region.Haji-Ioannou is scheduled for a mid-June visit to Barbados to pitch for berthing rights for EasyCruiseOne - hoping to create a 7-day cruise stopping at various nearby islands.

Travel Weekly reports that EasyCruise laid out a tentative Caribbean schedule in a statement last week: St. Lucia; Martinique; St. Vincent and the Grenadines; and Grenada.

“With the exception of St. Vincent, all islands have nonstop flights from either London or Paris and/or New York,” EasyCruise said to the travel trade paper, making a reference to its hop-on, hop-off model.
