Blue Horizons Garden Resort Scheduled To Re-open July 5

The US$1.5 million refurbishment project at Blue Horizons Garden Resort in Grenada is nearly 85 percent complete, and the property is scheduled to re-open on-time, July 5, 2005, as originally planned. Blue Horizons has been closed since September 2004 following damages sustained from Hurricane Ivan.“We’re extremely pleased with the refurbishment project, which included a complete repainting of the property, new furnishings and much more,” said Arnold Hopkin, owner/manager of Blue Horizons Garden Resort.

“The closure following the hurricane allowed us to revitalise our property and create a charming, informal getaway that remains affordable for adventure travellers, families, couples and leisure vacationers,” he added.

Blue Horizons contracted Florida-based Kobi Karb Architecture and Interior Design, Inc. for the refurbishment project.

From July 5 - Dec. 15, 2005, prices are from US125 per room, per night, based on double occupancy in a superior studio and $135 per room, per night, double, in a deluxe suite.  Meal plans are available.
