HotelClub Expands International Offering

HotelClub has announced seven new international destinations for consumers including Croatia, Cyprus, Fiji, India, Morocco, Philippines and Sri Lanka.  The launch of these destinations continues HotelClub’s growth in key markets of Europe and Asia market and is a direct result of its consolidation with asia-hotels.com and provides consumers with over 300 new accommodation choices.
These destinations were chosen due to their increased popularity with travel consumers worldwide. India’s appeal as a popular tourist destination has been increasing in popularity with tourists over the last three years. In 2004, Conde Naste Traveller UK ranked India sixth among the top ten destinations in its Annual Readers’ Travel Awards 2004, moving up from ninth position in 2003.  According to the Indian Ministry of Tourism, foreign tourist arrivals have grown 117% since 2003. Foreign Exchange earnings for the month of February were $570.53 million.
Philippines and Sri Lanka were launched as they are key central Asian destinations and have strong growth prospects.  Fiji has always been a popular destination with customers for an island getaway.
Croatia and Cyprus are key European destinations launched to attract business for the European summer from source markets such as Germany, United Kingdom and the Czech Republic. Morocco is also a popular holiday destination for many European customers.  “HotelClub is always continuing to expand and grow in response to customer feedback and key tourism destinations. By providing our customers with more choices of accommodation across the world at up to 60% off regular prices, we are making the dream of travel become true” said Chloe Lim, Director of Marketing.
