Grand Lido Braco Resort & Spa has teamed up with Caribbean Travel & Life, sister magazine ISLANDS, Appleton Estate and Walkerswood Caribbean Foods to dish up the third annual “Best of Jamaica” event, infused with all things Jamaican:Êthe island’s fascinating history, rich culture, delicious food and drink and famed reggae music. From October 4 - 9, guests of the AAA Four Diamond resort can enjoy this hearty entrée with “Best of Jamaica” five-night/six-day packages, starting at US$2,150 per couple.

The streets and walkways of Grand Lido Braco’s town square will be filled with intimate stations making mint balls, brewing gimberline wine, popping coffee beans, and featuring displays of Wassi art and woodcarvings, adding to the festive ambience.

After the sun sets, the beat quickens with a beach carnival, a Jamaican shindig where guests can dance the night away to favorite Ska tunes, and take part in the grand finale “Village Fiesta Street Party.”

Optional excursions into the Jamaican countryside during “Best of Jamaica” include a refreshing inner-tube ride down the White River, a visit to the Bob Marley Museum, or a tour of the newly opened Walkerswood farm and village.
