iTravel 2000 Switches to Galileo

itravel2000 has switched its reservation system from Sabre to Galileo International.
“By converting to Galileo, which we find to be a much more robust and streamlined GDS, itravel2000 will continue on our fast growth path and meet the needs of today’s travelling consumer,” stated Jonathan Carroll, president of itravel2000. “From beginning to end, this has been the smoothest conversion and integration of technology that itravel2000 has implemented in our eleven year history, inclusive of full training and implementation with staff.”

itravel2000 experienced a swift and seamless conversion of 200 plus terminals from Sabre to Galileo with a carefully executed plan over a period of 10 business days, which was managed by the Galileo Conversion Team.

“Choosing Galileo is a clear indicator that itravel2000 is providing the solutions that travel management companies are looking for to drive their business.  With custom solutions that are developed to suit the needs of our clients, we are committed to providing products and services to the travel industry now and in the future,” stated Jim Cahill, vice president sales and general manager of Canada, the Americas.
