TechTeam Global Signs Contract with Galaxy Hotel Systems
TechTeam Global today announced that it has signed a
contract with Galaxy Hotel Systems, LLC to assist Galaxy in the
deployment of its Galaxy LightSpeed(R) application, a software-based
property management system, at up to 350 Sheraton, Westin, Four Points by
Sheraton, W, St. Regis, and The Luxury Collection hotels under the
Starwood umbrella.
The contract calls for TechTeam and Galaxy to begin the deployment in the
spring of 2005, and to complete the project by the end of the year. Under
terms of the deal, TechTeam will provide up to 36 trainers, three
interface specialists, and three project coordinators to work with
Galaxy’s internal IT team. The value of the contract to TechTeam has the
potential to reach $2 million in 2005 depending on factors such as the
actual deployment and rollout timing.
