New York-based Premier Bags, Inc. and
Continental Airlines have entered into a unique partnership to provide the
air carrier’s first class customers with complimentary luxury gift bags,
it was announced today by Laine Lipsky, Chief Executive Officer, Premier
Bags, Inc. and Mark Bergsrud, Vice-President Marketing Programs and
Distribution, Continental Airlines. The service, which will begin in
February, will be available to first class customers on flights
originating from Newark to Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and
Seattle. Among the participants for the first cycle of gift bags are seven
top fragrances, including Prada and Caroline Herrera (one per bag),
Caudalie Lip Conditioner, five Bantam Book titles and Iredale’s D2O
Hydration Spritz. A full list of items will be announced shortly. “We are extremely pleased to partner with Continental Airlines in offering
this fabulous sampling of top-shelf brands to first class passengers,”
said Lipsky. “Premier Bags is assembling a fantastic array of participants
like Prada, Caudalie, Bantam Book and Iredale, who will be working with us
to supply the most exclusive products for our gift bags. Passengers today
have so many different options—together Premier Bags and Continental
have found a new way to accentuate the first class experience.”

“Our gift bags, featuring the very best products in fashion, beauty,
fragrance, dining and entertainment will add considerable value to first
class seating on Continental Airlines,” said Chris Carbone, President,

upscale, affluent audience, and they are going to raise first class travel

Though specific terms of the agreement are not being disclosed, Premier
Bags, Inc. will provide a complimentary gift bag featuring several
high-end products every quarter. First class customers receiving Premier
Bags will be on flights departing from Newark International Airport to
four cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and San Diego.
