Scot Bealer Appointed at UATP

UATP announced today the
appointment of Scot Bealer as the new vice president Worldwide Sales as of
4 November 2004. Bealer joins UATP from Continental Airlines where he was
the National Sales Manager—UATP. During his tenure, Bealer was instrumental in the development and growth
of the Continental UATP program—now one of the fastest growing and most
successful UATP programs in the network. He helped expand the basic UATP
program to also include the Continental AirPlus Company Account (AirPlus
is UATP’s largest account Issuer) which was launched in January 2004 as an
enhanced product for larger corporate travel programs.

“Scot’s knowledge of the UATP product, from the customer side will help
UATP to present its value proposition to airlines and travel agencies from
the point of view of an airline customer that has experienced the proven
financial and business benefits of lowering distribution costs and
building customer loyalty as a UATP Issuer,” Ralph Kaiser, UATP’s
president said. “We look forward to Scot’s contribution in expanding the
UATP global corporate travel payment network.”

Bealer worked for Continental since 1998. He holds an MBA in Marketing and
Business Development from the University of Texas. Bealer will work with
Emily Carter, vice president of Member Relations and Recruitment.

UATP continues its sustained growth in transaction volumes dating back to
August 2003 with business travel increases in all three of its worldwide
market sectors: Asia/Pacific; Europe and Africa; and, North and South
America.
