Sandals offer new services at Signature resorts

Sandals have upped the anti on what is on offer at there Caribbean resorts by incorporating a brand new Butler service and including some of its resorts in a new signature collection. Chairman Gordon “Butch” Stewart announced that the Signature Collection will commence in January. There will be nine properties in the signature collection and the Butler service will be available to those booking the highest level of accommodation. Three of the ‘Classic’ properties (Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Royal Caribbean and Sandals Ocho Rios, all in Jamaica) will also feature Butler service.

There will be one Butler to every six rooms.

Managing Director Bobby Stewart was keen to stress that the Classic collection is in no way inferior to the Signature Resorts; “the classic collection still offers far more then the competition does. Some may say that we are going over the top with the introduction of Butlers but it is just a way of evolving the Sandals product.”

The butlers will be trained and certified by the Guild of Professional English Butlers. The service on offer will include in-suite check-in, unpacking and packing luggage and in-suite dining.

Each Signature resort will feature a five-star restaurant and offer champagne breakfasts, a late-night buffet twice a week and themed evenings.
