Accor Asia Pacific has appointed new General Managers at some of its hotels in Asia.
Christophe Claveau is the new General Manager of the Fortune Hotel Bangkok (to be rebranded Grand Mercure Fortune Bangkok in 2005). Christophe has over 20 years experience with Accor starting with Ibis in France in 1981, before moving on to the UK and the Middle East. Christophe relocated to Cambodia in 1999 and was most recently General Manager of Hotel Ibis Slipi Jakarta.

Marc Begassat has been named General Manager, Sofitel Raja Orchid Khon Kaen in northeast Thailand. Marc rejoined Accor in 1996 in France before moving to Vietnam in 2000. He was most recently General Manager of the Sofitel Royal Angkor Cambodia.

Didier Lamoot is the new General Manager of the Sofitel Royal Angkor Cambodia. Didier has worked with Accor for over 20 years in Gambia, Mauritius, French Polynesia and Tunisia. He was most recently General Manager of the Grand Mercure Hotel in Malta.

Nicolas Lerat has been appointed General Manager Novotel Garden Cliff Resort Pattaya. The resort is scheduled to open early 2005. Nicolas joined Accor over 18 years ago starting at Mercure Lille France. Since then he has held various positions in Spain, China and Thailand, most recently as General Manager of the Grand Hotel Nongkhai Thailand.

Christophe Vielle has been named General Manager of the Mercure Pattaya Hotel. Christophe recently rejoined Accor after working in restaurant consultancy and project management. Prior to 1992, Christophe worked with Accor in Sofitel hotels in Thailand and China.
