New Appointment for
is delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Clark in
the newly created role of Investor Relations Director. has grown rapidly over the last 6 years, both
organically and through acquisition, with forecast pro-forma sales
this year of £1.1 billion.  The creation of this new role recognises
the importance of good communications with the analyst community and
key stakeholders. Phil will work closely with’s senior
team and will report to CFO David Howell.

Phil was an equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs for seven years,
working within the Retail Research Group.  During this period the
team was ranked first with ‘Institutional Investor’ magazine 3 years
consecutively.  Phil was responsible for equity research on Internet
retail and traditional retail companies, including,
and has experience within several fields of corporate communications
having worked in-house at various consultancies.

After leaving Goldman Sachs Phil read a Masters in Media and
Communication at the London School of Economics.
