Grand Lido Negril Resort & Spa is one of top resorts in the Caribbean

The results of Condé Nast Traveler’s 17th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards are clear and uncontested: Grand Lido Negril Resort & Spa is one of the top resorts in the Caribbean. The popular vote was cast and reported in the November 2004 issue on stands now.Scoring 83.2 on a scale of 100, readers ranked the AAA Four Diamond resort #15 in the Caribbean, one of five resorts in Jamaica, and in the same privileged company as Peter Island Resort in BVI, Four Seasons Nevis and Cap Juluca in Anguilla.

To come up with the annual rankings, Condé Nast Traveler readers were invited to evaluate resorts based on rooms, service, food/dining, location and activities/facilities, rating each category on a scale of poor, fair, good, very good, and excellent. In total, more than 20,000 readers participated in the survey.

This is the second consecutive year that Grand Lido Negril has been named in the reader’s choice awards.Ê Earlier this year, Grand Lido Negril also made Condé Nast Traveler’s exclusive 2004 “Gold List: The World’s Best Places to Stay”, and was one of only 28 hotels and resorts named to the list for the “Atlantic and Caribbean Islands.”
