JetBlue launch new NYC - Bahamas route

JetBlue Airways yesterday launched a new daily service between New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Nassau, in The Bahamas. Nassau becomes the carrier’s 30th destination, and third international destination following a successful launch last June to Santiago and Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic.“Now’s the perfect time to plan a winter vacation to Nassau and Paradise Island,” said David Neeleman, JetBlue’s CEO. “It may be getting colder outside, but we’re certain customers will have a warm and delightful experience traveling JetBlue to The Islands of The Bahamas.”

“The people of The Bahamas welcome JetBlue Airways to Nassau,” said the Honorable Obie H. Wilchcombe, Bahamas Minister of Tourism. “We are excited to experience their acclaimed service and low fares and are sure their presence will help grow our important tourism industry.”
