There have been reports in various travel media that the Curacao based Dutch Caribbean Airlines (DCA) has ceased operations. This came into effect earlier this month.Travel Weekly reported that the carrier had offered flights throughout the Dutch islands, including Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, St. Maarten, Saba and St. Eustatius, as well as service between Curacao and Amsterdam.

There has been interested shwon from both Bonaire Excel, a commuter line based in Bonaire, and American Eagle in picking up DCA’s Caribbean routes.
