Thailand’s renowned hotel and resort management company, Amari Hotels and Resorts, is joining SRS-WORLDHOTELS. All ten of the Amari Hotels and Resorts, which are located in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Koh Chang, Koh Samui, Phuket and Trang become official members of SRS-WORLDHOTELS on January 1, 2005.

Established in 1965, Amari has been a pioneer of the Thailand hospitality industry since its early days. It was one of the first companies to bring international standard hotels to the now world-famous destinations of Pattaya and Phuket, and has more recently been among the first to set up luxury hotels in the newly emerging destinations of Koh Chang, a large but undeveloped island off on the east coast, and Trang in Southern Thailand.

Amari’s properties have recently undergone substantial renovations to give them a chic contemporary Thai style in line with its newer properties like the stunning new Amari Beach Resort Trang which opened late last year, and the brand new and stylish Amari Emerald Cove Resort in Koh Chang, which opened this month.
