Active Hotels, one of Europe’s leading online hotel reservations providers, has been ranked by the Sunday Times amongst the 100 fastest growing technology companies.ÊThe award follows the recent investment of US$161 million in Active Hotels bypriceline.com, one of the leading brands in on-line travel in the US.The annual ‘Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100’ league table ranks the UK’s one hundred unquoted technology companies with the fastest-growing sales.

This award is the latest in a succession of accolades for Active Hotels, which include winner of the Deloitte & Touche fastest growing British Technology company in 2003, the Ernst and Young 2003 Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year (awarded to CEO Andy Phillipps); and earlier this year, a ranking in the Sunday Times top 50 ‘Best small companies’ to work for in the UK.
