bmibaby and AMEX Launch Online Travel Money Service

are joining forces to launch travel money online, a first for a UK low cost airline.The new initiative enables bmibaby passengers to order American Express Travellers Cheques and foreign currency online at the time of booking their flight. Travellers Cheques and cash will then be delivered direct to the customer’s home for a fee of £3.99. Travel money online can now be ordered at bmibaby.com.
The new agreement now means that bmibaby customers can purchase their complete holiday package online at bmibaby.com. Flights, hotels, car hire, travel insurance, travel money and destination guides are all available via the airline’s easy to use website.
American Express, one of the UK’s largest providers of travel money, offers competitive high street rates on currency and its Travellers Cheques include a free assistance service designed to help alleviate the two largest holiday worries - what to do if your cards or passport have been stolen.Ê Not only will American Express help holidaymakers replace their lost or stolen Travellers Cheques and American Express Cards, but they will now also assist customers in replacing their other major lost or stolen credit or debit cards and passports.
