AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. , today announced two new
customer-friendly features for online flight check-in on the airline’s web
site, www.airtran.com.

  Passengers traveling together in a group under the same reservation can now check in separately.  Previously, passengers had to check-in from the same location to ensure everyone had received their printed boarding passes.

Customers are now offered a re-print option which can be used if there was a problem printing on the first try.

“AirTran Airways is proud to offer these additional online services to
make traveling more convenient for our customers,” said Tad Hutcheson,
director of marketing for AirTran Airways. The airline added these
features in response to customer feedback regarding the site.
