is just one of three businesses to be shortlisted for the Tourism South East’s ExSEllence Awards in the ‘Website of the Year’ category.

The Tourism ExSEllence Awards are the South East regional heats of the Excellence in England Awards 2005, now entering their 16th year. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in November in Berkshire and winners of the regional awards will be automatically nominated for the national awards in April 2005.

Marston Hotels’ director, John Cotter, said: ‘We are delighted to reach the shortlist for the Tourism ExSEllence Awards. Marston Hotels has worked hard to make its website attractive and easy to navigate, which has produced some fantastic results - 48% of all bookings generated through our central reservations office are now made via our website.’

Marisa Jones, Tourism ExSEllence Awards co-ordinator, said: ‘Marston Hotels’ website meets all the criteria for the award.
