Worldspan Announces Partnership with United

Worldspan
has signed an agreement providing Worldspan’s online travel agency retailers with expanded access to United Airlines fare data, including all publicly
available fares and those fares available via United’s reservations
offices and its Web site at www.united.com/
. This development is an extension of a prior agreement creating the same access to United’s
inventory for Worldspan’s traditional travel agencies. Like that
agreement, Worldspan’s North American and Caribbean online travel agencies
will have access to complete fare content for all United flights,
including Web fares.

“Worldspan continues to deliver on our commitment to provide our online
and traditional agency customers with the widest array of fare content
available through solutions that create value and reduce costs for our
airline customers,” said Ninan Chacko, senior vice president - e-Commerce
and Product Planning for Worldspan. “With this expanded agreement, United
is gaining even greater access to Worldspan’s unmatched online travel
agency distribution channel. These online agencies will now have more
convenient fare access to United’s complete inventory to better meet their
clients’ growing needs.”

“United is pleased to further expand upon our original agreement with
Worldspan to provide our full range of fare content through Worldspan’s
online travel agency distribution channel,” said United’s senior vice
president - Planning, Greg Taylor. “This new provision allows us to
continue to lower our overall distribution costs while at the same time
increasing access of our content to all of Worldspan’s customers.”
