Hotwire
have introduced two innovative email features: Trip Watcher
and Savings Spotter, personalized additions that let travelers keep their
eye on airfare, hotel, rental car and vacation package prices to their
favorite places.
After registering on Hotwire and selecting destinations
they want to track, Hotwire customers receive email notifications twice
each month with up-to-date information on travel bargains to places they
want to go.

Hotwire’s new Trip Watcher feature lets travelers specify which air,
hotel, rental car and package destinations they want to track. For
example, a customer in New York could track hotel rates for weekend
getaways along the East coast, a flight home for the holidays to Chicago,
and package deals for beachfront vacations in the Caribbean. Every
registered Hotwire customer can track up to 10 destinations and change
them at any time.

The Savings Spotter function automatically finds savings to match a
customer’s travel interest based on recent searches, and includes these
trips in bi-weekly notifications. For example, if a customer searches
roundtrip flights from New York to Las Vegas, their next email from
Hotwire would include hotel and rental car rates in Las Vegas.
