Mandarin Oriental Unveils New Website

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is providing its visitors with a host of valuable information, in the form of “moments of delight”, with the launch of its newly designed website today, at www.mandarinoriental.com. The new site features comprehensive and content-rich information on each of its luxury properties worldwide, and focuses on the Group’s global leisure and business packages, their holistic spas, choices of accommodation, fine restaurants, weddings, special events and the best local attractions, all of which help to make a stay at Mandarin Oriental a delightful experience.

“The site has been designed to meet the needs of the Group’s partners from meeting planners to corporate bookers and travel agents. Negotiated corporate rates are already available to book on-line via secure access and before the end of the year travel agents will also be able to access customized information by entering their own IATA number or password. Meeting planners will find a vast array of useful information on the new site from extensive details on the Group’s function rooms, to creative menu planning and the Group’s own meeting guarantees under the banner of “Meetings by Mandarin Oriental”, said Christoph Oberli, E-commerce Manager of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

The architecture and navigation of the new site is both highly sophisticated and user-friendly, while the new, contemporary design reflects the Group’s oriental heritage through the use of vibrant photography. These features, together with enhanced technologies and a state-of-the-art booking device, allows users to quickly and easily discover rates and packages most appropriate to their needs and then to reserve their room of choice in five simple clicks with immediate confirmation.

To celebrate the launch, Mandarin Oriental is offering its visitors an opportunity to enjoy some “moments of delight” including a trip around the world.  The grand prize winner will receive a luxury travel package for two, providing round-trip business class airfares on Cathay Pacific Airways and three suite nights at each of the following hotels: Mandarin Oriental, New York, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.  Other prizes, including accommodation at many of Mandarin Oriental’s legendary hotels, are also featured.
