United Airlines Launch Cruise Website

United today launched its new cruise website, united.com/cruises, where visitors
can purchase cruise packages from more than 20 different cruise operators,
and earn and redeem United Mileage Plus miles for cruises. United is the
only major airline to offer its frequent fliers the opportunity to both
earn and redeem miles for cruises.
“Since we became the first airline to launch our own cruise program, we
have made the process of booking a cruise as seamless as possible for our
customers,” said Scott Garner, managing director - Travel Products,
United. “With more cruise selections than any other airline website,
united.com offers cruise packages that fit the needs of travelers, at the
most competitive rates plus the added-value of earning Mileage Plus miles
for every cruise purchased.”

More than 20 different cruise lines, representing nearly all North
American cruises, are affiliated with United Cruises, including Norwegian
Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Disney, Carnival, and Radisson Seven Seas.

Travelers can book a cruise by going to http://www.united.com/cruises , or
by dialing toll-free, 1-888-UAL-2-SEA.

Mileage Plus members can redeem miles for a cruise or use a combination of
cash and a minimum of 10,000 miles to purchase their cruise. United’s
Mileage Plus members will also earn one mile for every dollar spent on
cruises at united.com, including purchases for shore excursions and other
expenditures. To enroll in Mileage Plus, visit

United.com is offering 2,500 bonus miles for Mileage Plus members who book
online until August 31, 2004. After August, Mileage Plus members will earn
1,000 bonus miles when they book their cruise through united.com.
