First New Five Star Hotel in Kowloon in a Decade

Scheduled to open on 1st July 2004, the new Langham Place Hotel Hong Kong will be situated in the heart of urban Mongkok, making it the first new five star hotel to open in Kowloon in a decade. The 665-room, 42-storey hotel and will position itself as Hong Kong’s first chic, contemporary style hotel.
Langham Place is fully geared up towards MICE delegates with a 60-story Office tower and state-of-the-art multimedia technology, allowing simultaneous recording and projection of an event for up to 35 tables of guests. The hotel has six other function rooms including the 42nd floor Star Room which opens directly onto the swimming pool area and offers magnificent views of Hong Kong.

Situated near to the city?s famous Ladies? and Night Markets, the hotel will celebrate the best in Langham?s legendary service combined with innovative design and modern technology. Langham Place is already being hailed as the most technologically advanced Hotel in Asia Pacific. Guests staying connected by voice and data at all times, so they will be able to access wireless voice services anywhere in the hotel. 

The hotel guest rooms, designed by leading international interior design specialist Bilkey Llinas, are framed by floor to ceiling windows, allowing the most magnificient of views into every room. A stunning glass wall between bathroom and bedroom allows a flood of natural light into the bathroom and the opportunity for guests to watch TV while taking a relaxing bath.

The hotel is also home to Hong Kong’s most exclusive oasis of well-being - the Chuan Spa. Here, guests may take in an unforgettable view of Hong Kong Island, while enjoying a foot massage in chairs specially designed for the spa, and luxuriate in all-around pampering. Langham Place is offering an opening summer rate of HK$888 (approx: £60) for an executive room. The price will be valid from 1st August to 10th October 2004.
