bmibaby is re-launching its website, bmibaby.com
. It’s the first time that the airline has revisited the look and feel of its website since it announced the launch of low cost services in January 2002.The website, which accounts for over ninety per cent of bookings made, receives almost two million hits per month and is amongst one of the most popular airline websites in the UK.

New features of the website include a top navigation, with the booking engine appearing on every page and a comprehensive route map. Over the next month travel specialists, What’s on When and Lonely Planet will both have direct links from bmibaby.com and AMEX will be offering passengers the opportunity to book their travel money online.

David Hodge, marketing director of bmibaby, said:

“We’ve worked with a specialist website agency to create a totally consumer focussed website. Extensive testing and research has been conducted to ensure that bmibaby.com is as customer friendly as possible. Passengers will notice that it’s much quicker to log on to bmibaby.com and book flights, which was the primary aim of the re-design.”

To celebrate the launch of the new site bmibaby is offering £50 travel credits for the first fifty passengers to book flights on the new site on the official launch day, Friday 02nd July 2004.
