recently added John Banczak as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development.Ê Bringing more than ten years of experience in the airline, hotel, and tech industries, Banczak will specialize in corporate and product development, corporate alliances, and brand awareness for the bed and breakfast industry.Ê

John started his career in revenue management at Northwest Airlines in 1992, where he managed the West Coast leisure markets, and then North Atlantic flights.Ê He soon becameÊheavily involved in the KLM/NWA alliance which took him to work for KLM in Amsterdam as a Senior Analyst for the highly successful joint venture. His technology tenure started after receiving an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management in 1998, when he joined Accenture’s Strategic Services group where he worked on projects for clients including Microsoft, ValueRx, FedEx, and Gatorade among others.Ê In 1999 Banczak joined Worldres where he became the Vice President of Distribution and Hotel Sales.Ê In 2002, John put his skills to work forÊ Hotwire, where he managed the Airline Operations group as the company grew to become the largest seller of “opaque” airline tickets.Ê Recently, after Hotwire was acquired by IAC, John decided to return to the lodging industry with Bed and Breakfast.com.
