United and Ted Make It a Breeze to Winter in the Sun
People who love to fly south
in the winter for fun in the sun are going to love United and Ted more
than ever this year. United is now selling flights that will begin in
December in four new Mexican and four new Caribbean markets, as well as
new service in Central America and increased flight frequencies in one
Caribbean market. And now Ted, United’s low-fare service, is getting into
the act. Making the leap to international flying, Ted is now selling
flights starting in December to two Mexican hot spots. Some of the above
markets are pending foreign government approval.“Our customers have let us know they want more options to winter sun
destinations, so we are delighted to be able to respond with this robust
schedule to beach resorts and tropical destinations,” said Graham
Atkinson, senior vice president - Worldwide Sales and Alliances, United.
“We continue to expand our global network in ways that make good sense for
our company and bring great value to our customers.”
The new, resumed and increased United service includes flights between
Chicago (ORD) and Cozumel (CZM) in Mexico; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
(GCM); Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ); Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ);
