Poker comes to the Royal Oasis Golf Resort and Casino on Grand Bahama Island

The Royal Oasis Golf Resort and Casino, located on Grand Bahama Island officially announces the Caribbean Poker Classic, the World Poker Tour Satellite Tournament, sanctioned by the World Poker Tour. The event takes place August 25th-29th, 2004 at the Royal Oasis Golf Resort and Casino on Grand Bahama Island. The minimum first place prize money is US$250,000 (based on 200 players) plus a guaranteed seat and paid entry for the $2.5 Million World Poker Tour Final at the Bellagio in Las Vegas valued at $25,000. “Poker is hot and we’re excited to be a part of the World Poker Tour,” says owner Steve Kates.
The fee for the Caribbean Poker Classic/World Poker Tour Satellite Tournament of US$2,999 includes one entry fee, round trip air fare from all Grand Bahama Vacation cities (casino charters only), deluxe 4 night room accommodations, all taxes and gratuities (departure and room), one meal per day, check-in party, and Saturday night dinner and dance plus any other comps based on casino rated play.
